Solar Watch

Solar watches charge using light through a cell under the dial, storing energy in a rechargeable capacitor. With regular light they can run for years without service.

1. 1Place the watch in indirect sunlight or bright indoor light.
2. 2Avoid overheating it in direct, harsh sun.
3. 3If fully depleted, it may need hours or days of light to recover.
4. 4Keep it charged regularly rather than letting it fully drain.

Don't store it in a dark drawer for months. A windowsill (out of harsh direct heat) keeps the reserve topped up. Many solar watches show a charge-level indicator.
