01
What is a solar watch?
Solar watches charge using light through a cell under the dial, storing energy in a rechargeable capacitor. With regular light they can run for years without service.
02
How to keep it charged
- 1Place the watch in indirect sunlight or bright indoor light.
- 2Avoid overheating it in direct, harsh sun.
- 3If fully depleted, it may need hours or days of light to recover.
- 4Keep it charged regularly rather than letting it fully drain.

Care tips
Don't store it in a dark drawer for months. A windowsill (out of harsh direct heat) keeps the reserve topped up. Many solar watches show a charge-level indicator.
